A $390 million advisor team in Beaufort, S.C. has joined St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Raymond James Advisor Select as an independent office.

Tumlin Levin Sumner Wealth Management, a partnership between Charles Tumlin, Arthur Levin, and Hall Sumner, has broken away from Wells Fargo Advisors, where they managed $390 million in client assets and had annual fees and commissions of about $2.6 million.

Tumlin Levin Sumner was founded as an office of A.G. Edwards & Sons, became part of Wachovia Securities as part of a 2007 merger, and then part of Wells Fargo Advisors after a 2008 acquisition.
