The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. today appointed Roger C. Myers Jr. as its chief financial officer, with responsibility for managing financial oversight and enterprise risk management.

Myers will be responsible for all financial activities of CFP Board as well as provide management and leadership for its information technology, meeting planning, office administration and facilities functions.

"We are excited to welcome Roger to the CFP Board team," said CFP Board Chief Executive Officer Kevin R. Keller. "He brings significant non-profit accounting and finance experience, as well as strategic business planning and operational management to our executive leadership team."

Prior to his appointment as CFP Board CFO Myers served as executive vice president and CFO for the 400,000-member, $70 million Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, where he managed all aspects of financial and accounting functions.
