Raymond James today announced it has recruited a mother-daughter advisor team Wells Fargo that managed more than $200 million in assets and had $2 million in annual production.

Carolyn S. Meakem and her daughter Traci Meakem Richmond joined Raymond James and formed The Meakem Group in Bethesda, Md., Scott Curtis, president of Raymond James Financial Services Scott Curtis said in a a statement. The group provides financial planning, investment management, estate preservation strategies, risk management, education planning and divorce planning.

“We are pleased to welcome this exceptional team to Raymond James,” said Curtis. “These advisors are a great addition to our independent channel, as they bring years of experience and dedication to putting clients first."
