With college degrees in hand, new graduates set out to look for their first job and a home.

Trulia, the real estate site and social media site LinkedIn combined their research to see which cities grads may want to avoid. They considered entry-level job opportunities, the availability of medium-priced apartments and the amount of competition from other new grads.

Ranking 40 of the largest metropolitan areas, these 10 cities came out on the bottom. They are listed here in reverse order with the worst listed last.

No. 10: San Francisco, Calif.
