WalletHub, a web-based financial information resource for consumers, analyzed the credit scores for residents in 2,570 cities across the United States to see where people have the worst and best credit worthiness.

Residents of some urban areas came out on the bottom of the list, and those in several cities known as retirement centers came out on top.

According to WalletHub’s analysis, residents of the following 10 cities have the most problem with their credit scores. The cities, along with the average credit score for residents, are in reverse order with the worst listed last.

No. 10: Gary, Ind., 588.4
