The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards announced that 2,063 candidates passed its March CFP certification exams, for a pass rate of 52.3%.

Since the CFP Board started offering the exam in its current format, 80,708 candidates have taken the exam and 46,257 have passed it on their first try or subsequent attempts, for a cumulative pass rate of 57%, according to the CFP Board.

The 10-hour, two-day exam is offered at 50 sites nationwide. Applications are due June 3 for the next exam, which will be held July 17 and 18.
