But the fund, which charges 0.75 in net expenses, has managed to attract just over $10 million in assets since it was launched in 2011.

What’s Next for Frontier ETFs?

Issuers have shown a clear interest in expanding the suite of frontier markets in recent years, and if the emerging market ETF space is any indication, they will continue to do just that. There are plenty of opportunities to offer exposure to new markets and to move beyond just equity investments.
