An advisor can help, says Johnson. “Obviously, advisors should be part of the conversation when it comes to a child’s will, but the advisor also can be part of the conversation about the other documents as well. Or the advisor can just be the catalyst for the client to have the conversation with the child.”
That can also help the advisor build a more trusting relationship with the client, he says.
