The Advisor Group of broker-dealers on Tuesday said it was planning a fourth-quarter rollout of a robo-platform, along with other technology enhancements.

Advisor Group will use Jemstep’s Advisor Pro solution for the robo offering and integrate it with both Pershing, its main clearing firm, and Envestnet, its TAMP provider.

In a statement, the firm promised a customized, advisor-branded robo-account available through advisors’ websites.

Jemstep has an existing integration arrangement with Pershing.

Other technology enhancements that Advisor Group is making in conjunction with Jemstep will include digital account opening, paperless workflows, a data-aggregation platform, a mobile-enabled web portal for clients, an e-signature account transfer process and more efficient asset allocation capabilities through what Advisor Group calls a “seamless integration with both Pershing (for brokerage accounts) and Envestnet (for advisory solutions).”

“Our platform will eliminate most of the traditional 'pain points' for advisors across the industry when it comes to time-consuming paperwork," said Advisor Group CEO Jamie Price in a statement.

Advisor Group is comprised of FSC Securities Corp., Royal Alliance Associates, SagePoint Financial and Woodbury Financial Services.
