American Realty Capital (ARC) has named Sameer Jain as its managing director and chief economist. Jain has also been named managing director, alternative investments for ARC's broker dealer subsidiary, Realty Capital Securities. Based in the firm's New York office, Jain will focus on enhancing wirehouse and institutional relationships. Previously, Jain headed investment content and strategy at UBS Alternative Investments. Jain also served as a partner at Cambridge Alternative Investments, an investment advisory firm that he co-founded.
