AMI Asset Management, a Los Angeles-based investment management firm that focuses on domestic long-only growth equities, has hired Andrew Zamfotis as senior equality analyst, AMI announced.

Previously, Samfotis was a senior analyst at EVA Dimensions, an equity research firm focused on economic profit-based models.

AMI also hired Betsy Santoyo for a new postion as marketing associate to help with the firm’s growth in the institutional space, AMI says. Santoyo previously worked at Oracle Corp. in Boston as an inside sales consultant.
