Arbor Point Advisors has hired Jeffrey Schmaltz as a regional sales director based in Fort Worth, Texas. With more than 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, Schmaltz joins the firm from Fidelity Investment’s institutional division, where he was responsible for developing new business relationships.
Headquartered in La Vista, Neb., Arbor Point is an SEC registered investment advisory firm that was formed as a joint venture by Securities America and NorthStar Financial Services Group. Arbor Point offers an integrated platform that allows hybrid advisors to serve fee-based clients directly with major custodians such as TD Ameritrade, Schwab and Fidelity Institutional. The advisors do their commission business through Securities America.
