Dow Jones Launches Wealth Manager Product

Dow Jones & Co. has launched a product for financial advisors to help them increase contact with their clients.

Dow Jones Wealth Manager enables advisors to build deeper relationships with clients and prospects through communication and assists firms in increasing total assets under management, the company says.

Wealth Manager lets advisors use their knowledge of their clients‚ goals and interests to generate thoughtful reasons for calls and e-mail. Advisors profile their clients and prospects, and then the browser-based application continuously maps Dow Jones‚ news and information–Dow Jones Newswires, The Wall Street Journal, Barron‚s and SmartMoney–to these personalized profiles.

Firms also will be able to integrate their proprietary research into Wealth Manager and link it to key client profiles and holdings. The advisor then decides how and when to reach out to clients.

Dow Jones Wealth Manager was developed in conjunction with Client Dynamics, a company based in Irvine, Calif., that offers client management software.
