Fidelity Investments is offering advisors tools
designed to bring retirement planning into focus for both clients and
prospects.
The additions to the Fidelity Advisor Retirement
Income Services program, which was launched in June, consist of a
retirement income planning workbook and a seminar kit for giving
presentations to clients and prospects.
The workbook is designed as a "blueprint" for
designing customized retirement plans for clients, according to
Fidelity. The workbook includes strategies for funding essential and
discretionary expenses, and options for establishing systematic
withdrawal plans and a guaranteed income stream with annuities.
The seminar kit is a presentation on the risks
retirees face in maintaining an income stream and what they can gain
with a retirement plan. The kit also includes marketing materials.
"Our program, with its education, planning tools and
product solutions, can help advisors plan for and address a very real
and complex financial concern for their clients-how to successfully
make the transition from saving for retirement to actually living a
lifetime off those savings while managing their assets for continued
growth," says John Ragnoni, senior vice president of Fidelity
Investments Institutional Services Company.
