Tiburon Strategic Advisors Principal Chip Roame will kick off the
firm's 10th annual CEO summit next month with an address on the state
of the financial services industry.
Roame will deliver
the opening and closing remarks at the summit, commenting on how
companies can approach a U.S. market that consists of 108 million
households holding $17.1 trillion in investable assets and $7.5 trillion
in retirement plan assets, according to Tiburon.
Roame will also
note that, in a competitive playing field with more than 400,000
financial advisors, independent reps have surpassed wirehouse brokers
as the largest advisor segment.
A discussion of
target marketing, technology and industry consolidation will also be on
the agenda, according to Tiburon.
The guest speakers at the summit will
include Mark Casady, CEO of LPL Financial Services; Greg Johnson, CEO
of Franklin Templeton Investments; Dave Pottruck, CEO of Red Eagle
Ventures and former CEO of Charles Schwab & Company; and Norton
Reamer, CEO of Asset Management Finance and former CEO of United Asset
Management.
The CEO summit is scheduled for April 19-20 in San Francisco.
