National Retirement Partners, a network of independent retirement plan-focused advisors, today announced plans to buy three advisory firms as part of its latest expansion efforts.

NRP, based in Capistrano Beach, Calif., signed letters of intent to acquire Darrell Alford and Lisa Jungers of Alford-Jungers Financial in San Diego, Calif., Chad Larsen in Denver, Colo. and Barbara Delaney of Financial Foundations of America in Pearl River, N.Y.

When finalized, the deals will add to NRP's network of more than 90 member firms advising 3,000 retirement plans and assets in excess of $34 billion.

Tim O'Brien, NRP's director of mergers and acquisitions, said in a press release that NRP expects to make more acquisitions in the near future.
