Baird has added eight wealth management professionals and opened a second office in Houston. John Hantak has joined the firm as senior vice president and branch manager. He will oversee both Houston offices. Hantak most recently served as an executive director/complex director for UBS Financial Services, where he oversaw more than 50 financial advisors in Stamford and Greenwich, Conn., managing $48 million in revenues.

Joining Hantak are seven advisors, all of whom were most recently with Wells Fargo Advisors. Their business is primarily focused on the retirement planning needs of professionals in the oil and gas industries. Collectively, these advisors bring more than 90 years of combined industry experience and oversee more than $770 million in client assets.
