Advisor Group announced today that Kevin Beard has been named executive vice president for recruiting and acquisition strategy.
In his newly created position, Beard will be responsible for the broker-dealer's recruiting strategy. He will also develop and promote programs to recruit new OSJ managers and new representatives for existing offices.
“Advisor Group is home to four unique broker-dealers and I am confident that advisors seeking a financially strong, technologically advanced and committed partner will find a home at FSC, Royal Alliance, SagePoint Financial or Woodbury Financial,” said Beard in a prepared statement. “We have had a strong recruiting year to date and I am focused on attracting many more advisors to our firms.”
Beard most recently served as senior vice president of recruiting for Royal Alliance and recruited over $60 million since he began working with the firm.
Prior to joining Royal Alliance in 2009, Beard served as regional director at Rehmann Group, where he was responsible for recruiting and acquisition of wealth management firms. In 2007, Beard co-founded Innovative Advanced Resources, a company that assisted high-net-worth advisors, registered investment advisors and asset managers with their distribution needs.
