Benjamin W. Wong and Associates of Pleasanton, Calif., has joined Commonwealth Financials’ network of independent financial advisors. Wong and his team manage $700 million in client assets.
They are joining Commonwealth from Financial Telesis Inc., which was recently purchased by LPL Financial.
Wong and his staff have provided personal financial planning and investment management for more than three decades, the company said in a statement.
“Finding the right fit was extremely important to us,” said Wong. “Commonwealth offers the boutique broker-dealer feel with the scale that gives us confidence and peace of mind in knowing we are supported across the board.”
Commonwealth Financial Network is the nation’s largest privately held independent broker-dealer/RIA, with headquarters in Waltham, Mass., and San Diego. The firm supports more than 1,487 independent advisors nationwide.
