BNY Mellon’s wealth management business has hired industry veteran McBee Butcher Jr. as senior portfolio officer in the firm's Philadelphia office. Butcher has 20 years of experience in financial services and investment management, most recently serving as a senior portfolio manager at McCabe Capital Managers Ltd. and as a vice president at Drexel Morgan & Co.
Michael Cabanas, who's based in Miami, has been hired as senior director for the wealth manager’s Southeast U.S. region. Previously, Cabanas was a managing director at Fiduciary Trust International. He was a private banker with JP Morgan prior to that. Cabanas also leads BNY Mellon’s philanthropic outreach with the United Way of Greater Miami, The Boys and Girls Club of Miami Dade and Miami Children’s Hospital.
