The CFP Board Center for Financial Planning will collaborate with Columbia University School of Professional Studies to offer a five-day teaching certificate starting in August 2016, the CFP Board announced Monday.

The classroom-based program is designed for faculty who teach finance or accounting, as well as for CFP professionals who want to become adjunct faculty in a CFP Board Registered Program and doctoral candidates.

The five-day workshop will feature master teachers presenting innovative approaches to facilitating student achievement relative to CFP Board principal topics and learning objectives, as well as exposure to innovative avenues for registered program leadership.
