The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards has promoted Joseph Maugeri to managing director of marketing and corporate relations. He joined the CFP Board in 2011 and has focused on business development and firm relations functions.
In the newly expanded role, Maugeri’s responsibilities will include growth of CFP professionals among all channels, marketing initiatives, product development and membership on the executive leadership team.
Maugeri’s prior positions include vice president and head of the professional alliance program at Merrill Lynch, director at SEI Investments, and a financial advisor at AXA Advisors.
