Citi Private Bank has hired Adam Gross as managing director and head of capital market client coverage in North America. John-Paul Tomassetti has been hired to join the capital market coverage team. Both will be based in the firm's New York office.

In this newly created role, Gross will partner with the firm's private bankers and investment counselors to expand services for ultra-high-net-worth investors. He joins the firm after spending almost 20 years at JP Morgan, where he most recently served as managing director and head of U.S. prospecting and marketing for the firm’s global investment opportunities group (GIO), of which he was a founder.

Tomassetti has joined Citi Private Bank's North America capital market coverage team as a director. He joins from Barclays Wealth Americas, where he was a director and investment representative, involved with developing and implementing business strategies to attract and acquire new clients. Prior to that, Tomassetti worked for six years at JP Morgan Private Bank as an investment advisor in the GIO Group.
