Cordium has hired Peter Guarino and Vivek Pingili as vice presidents.
Based in the firm’s Boston office, Guarino most recently served as the chief compliance officer for Timberline Asset Management. Prior to that, he founded IM Compliance LLC, which provided independent fund CCO and advisor CCO support services.
Pingili joins Cordium from Proskauer Rose LLP, where he supported private investment fund managers on a wide range of regulatory compliance activities. He will be based in the firm’s New York office.
Cordium is the new name for HedgeOp Compliance and The IMS Group, which merged in January 2012. Cordium provides regulatory compliance consulting services and software to the asset management and securities industry.
