Curian Capital has named Walt Czaicki senior vice president of the asset management group (AMG) and chief investment officer for the company. Previously, he served as vice president of platform management for AMG, overseeing manager selection, model allocations and advisor communications. He also served as vice president and director of portfolio management for the firm. He will remain based in the Denver office.

Prior to joining Curian, Czaicki was a senior portfolio manager with AllianceBernstein.
