Curian Capital has appointed Gabriel Burstein, Ph.D., as head of the investment strategy group in Denver. Burstein will lead the newly formed group, which is responsible for alternative investments, asset allocation, market strategy and manager research. He will also oversee the expansion of the group’s portfolio and product construction capability. Burstein previously served as global head of investment research as well as hedge fund and mutual fund research for Lipper in New York.
