Christopher Paridon has joined Davis Polk & Wardwell as counsel in its financial institutions group. He will be based in Washington, D.C., and will provide bank regulatory advice on matters including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and financial regulatory reform.

Previously, Paridon served as counsel in the legal division of the board of governors of the Federal Reserve System. He also served as government relation’s counsel at the American Bankers Association and attorney-advisor with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of the General Counsel.
