Douglas C. Lane & Associates (DCLA), an RIA based in New York City with nearly $4.4 billion in assets under management, has joined Focus Financial Partners as an independent partner, Focus announced Thursday.
DCLA provides investment management services to high-net-worth clients in 47 states and 17 countries and has 34 employees. The firm will continue to operate under its own name.
One of the largest independent RIAs on the East Coast, DCLA was founded by Douglas Lane and his wife Gay in 1994. Both will remain as acting partners of the firm. Ned Dewees and Sarat Sethi will be managing partners of the firm as it joins Focus. Focus is an international partnership of independent fiduciary wealth management firms.
