From conversations I've had with many advisors, the huge migration of investors seeking new advisors is under way. Rarely have advisors had the chance they have today to select the client base they want.

Given this favorable imbalance between supply and demand, they should take advantage of it. Screening clients to identify those who are most compatible with your approach to financial planning can have a very positive effect on your own quality of life over the next decade.

The flip side is taking on clients who will make your life difficult going forward. After what we've all been through over the last 24 months, I don't think that's what anyone wants.
