Envestnet has named Zachary Karabell head of global strategy. In this role, Karabell will work with senior management on overall corporate strategy, branding and market position. He was previously executive vice president, chief economist and head of marketing at Fred Alger Management. Other positions he held while at Alger included president of broker-dealer Fred Alger & Co., portfolio manager of the China-U.S. Growth Fund and executive vice president of Alger’s Spectra Funds.
