Princeton, N.J.- based Equinox Financial Group has appointed Afroz Qadeer and Sue Osborne to its investment management committee.

Qadeer also serves as president and chief investment officer of Equinox Institutional Asset Management. He will focus on developing alternative strategies for retail and institutional investors.

Osborne serves as director of research. She will lead research efforts for multi-advisor alternative investment portfolios and managed futures strategies.

Qadeer co-founded Tapestry Asset Management—a firm acquired by Equinox in January—in 2002 and served as chief executive officer and co-chief investment officer of the firm. Osborne served as director of research and a partner at Tapestry.
