Evercore Wealth Management LLC has opened a regional office in Minneapolis to serve high-net-worth investors in the Midwest.

Evercore, which requires a minimum investment of $5 million, has offices in New York and San Francisco. The new office will provide wealth management and investing for individuals, families and family offices.

To staff the new office, Evercore has hired six new partners from the Minneapolis-based private asset management firm Lowry Hill, a division of Wells Fargo Bank. The new partners will report to Jeff Maurer, chief executive officer for Evercore at the headquarters in New York.

The new partners are: Martha Pomerantz, a portfolio manager with 16 years experience as an investment principal and co-chair of the investment committee at Lowry Hill; Julie Krieger, co-manager of Evercore Wealth Management with 27 years experience working with high net worth individuals and family clients; Pam Lundell, a wealth advisor with 22 years of experience providing tax and financial services; Jason Anderson, in charge of information technology with 18 years experience at a registered investment advisory firm as chief technology officer; Stacie Price, a wealth advisor with 20 years experience in financial services; and Michael Seppelt, a portfolio manager with 11 years as an investment principal and portfolio manager at Lowry Hill.
