Fi‐Tek, a financial technology company in Edison, N.J., is acquiring Rockefeller & Co.’s Rockit Solutions business, the two firms announced Thursday.

Rockit Solutions LLC is a technology service provider for single-family and multifamily offices, investment advisors and private trust companies.

As part of the transaction, Rockefeller & Co. has a long‐term service arrangement with Fi‐Tek for information management services for itself and its clients. The terms of the acquisition, which will be completed in February, were not released.

Rockit Command, the technology platform for Rockit Solutions, was launched in 2000 to provide middle‐ and back‐office services for Rockefeller & Co.’s wealth and asset management business.

Five years later, Rockit Solutions became a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockefeller & Co. and began to offer services to third‐party clients.
