Fiduciary Counselors Inc. has hired Ivan Strasfeld as a senior advisor. Previously, Strasfeld worked at the Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration for 24 years as the director of the Office of Exemption Determinations. Strasfeld also held several positions in the Office of Regulations and Interpretations, including chief of fiduciary interpretations and regulations and chief of regulatory coordination. Earlier in his career, Strasfeld was a tax law specialist with the Internal Revenue Service.
