Fiduciary Trust Company International, a global investment manager and wholly owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Investments, is opening a new office in Arlington, Va., the firm announced Tuesday.

The new office, which will be overseen by Bill Leffingwell, regional managing director and head of Fiduciary Trust’s Washington, D.C., office, will enable Fiduciary Trust to expand services in the Washington, D.C., area.

Fiduciary Trust Company International was established in 1931 and has $78 billion in assets under management and administration. It specializes in wealth planning, investment management and trust and estate services, as well as tax and custody services.
