Intel Corp. is the top green power purchaser on the federal Environmental Protection Agency's top 50 green power list, which also includes three financial services firms.

Intel, the nation's largest single purchaser of green power with purchases of more than 1.3 billion kWh of green power per year, took the top spot for the second year in a row, the EPA says.

Financial services firms on the list include HSBC North America, No. 12; Wells Fargo, No. 21; and ING, No. 45. Overall, EPA partners with more than 1,000 organizations that are buying more than 16 billion kWh of green power annually.
