Summit Financial, an independent RIA based in Lafayette, La., has joined Focus Financial Partners LLC, an international partnership of independent, fiduciary wealth management firms with more than $70 billion in total client assets, Focus Financial announced Wednesday.
Summit Financial has $600 million in client assets and provides investment and wealth management services to clients in Louisiana and the surrounding areas. This is the ninth transaction Focus has completed this year.
Fred Werner and David Daniel, both former Legg Mason advisors, founded Summit Financial in 2003. Summit has eight employees, including four advisors.
