Focus Financial Partners has announced that Pradeep Jayaraman, Robert Freedman, Anita Venkiteswaran, Michael McGowan and Ilse Hamblin have joined the firm.

Jayaraman joins Focus as a vice president and will concentrate on business development and acquisition activities. Previously, Jayaraman was a vice president at Goldman Sachs and he also served as an associate in Citigroup's investment banking division.

Freedman joins as a senior manager of Focus Connections, which provides guidance and transition support to advisors leaving wirehouses to create their own independent RIA. Previously, Freedman was at HighTower Advisors where he was a member of the marketing team.

Venkiteswaran joins the firm as a vice president of Focus Successions, which is a program that helps advisors transition their practices once they are ready to retire. Prior to joining Focus, she worked at Audax Private Equity and CI Capital Partners.

McGowan joins Focus as assistant general counsel. Previously, McGowan was a corporate associate in the mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets practice groups of Vinson & Elkins LLP.

Hamblin joins the firm as manager of information sharing. This newly created role expands Focus' initiatives to connect its partners and employees sharing best practices by expanding firm wide practice groups in areas including investments, marketing, technology and operations.

Founded in 2006, Focus Financial Partners provides wealth management, benefit and investment consulting services to individuals, families, employers and institutions.
