Kathleen C. Gaffney, CFA, has joined Eaton Vance Corp. in Boston as vice president and co-director of investment grade fixed-income. At Loomis Sayles, Gaffney had served as co-manager of the highly successful Loomis Sayles Bond Fund with the firm's vice chairman, Dan Fuss.

Gaffney had been a vice president and portfolio manager for the fixed income group at Loomis, Sayles & Company. She has 28 years of investment experience as a portfolio manager and trader. In addition to serving as co-manager of Loomis Sayles Bond Fund, she also managed or co-managed a number of other mutual fund and institutional accounts, including core-plus, multi-sector and high yield mandates. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
