Genworth Financial Asset Management (GFAM), of Pleasant Hill, Calif. recently hired Sean Curley as senior vice president and product specialist.

Curley will be responsible for supporting financial advisors by helping them understanding the philosophy of GFAM's investment team. In his leadership role, he will communicate the strategies and tactics of the GFAM's investment management department to key internal and external business audiences.

Curley has over 20 years of experience in finance and in financial markets. Prior to joining GFAM, he served as portfolio specialist at Hartford Investment Management Company. He has also held positions with NatWest USA, Lehman Brothers Inc., and Nomura Securities International Inc. In addition, he previously worked as a commercial banker, a fixed-income analyst, senior credit risk management officer and senior financial consultant.
