Keep an open mind and suspend judgment – Just let the experience flow, be fully alert and absorb.

Debrief, debrief, and debrief – Discuss experiences with your fellow fringe partners. Chronicle the way something was said, the way something was done, what affected you the most. Then, roll it around in your mind and continue discussing it with other groups, bring it up in later business discussions, look for elements in your experience that you may be able to apply in some way to the goals and challenges in your business or your life.

P.S. If you are not in NYC during this time, know that there are fringe festivals in many major cities across the country or other type of theatre festivals playing in your communities. Seek them out and apply the above mindset to your choices there.
