Kerry Michael Finn has been hired as regional director of Halbert Hargrove, a fiduciary investment management and wealth advisory firm in Long Beach, Calif., with $4 billion in client assets.

The allows the firm to expand into Orange County, Calif., Halbert Hargrove announced Thursday.

Finn, who will be based in Newport Beach, Calif., has nearly 20 years of experience as a financial planner, with expertise in estate planning and tax analysis for individuals, corporate executives and families. Prior to joining Halbert Hargrove, he worked with U.S. Trust Company, AYCO/Goldman Sachs and most recently as managing director at Fiduciary Trust Company International.

Established in 1933, Halbert Hargrove has six offices in the western United States. The firm has grown in recent years. Finn’s addition is in anticipation of the establishment of an Orange County office, Halbert Hargrove said.
