Hatteras Funds has promoted Michael Hutten to president of distribution. Hutten will be responsible for managing all aspects of sales, marketing and national accounts. He joined the firm in August 2006 as a regional director for the West. In addition to Hatteras, Hutten has held various sales and management roles at JPMorgan Asset Management, Santa Barbara Alpha Strategies, Robertson Stephens and Montgomery Partners.
Robert Brown has been appointed managing director of strategic relationships at the firm. Prior to this role, Brown has held various positions within Hatteras, including head of sales and marketing, regional sales, sales management, national accounts, and marketing management.
