The Hedge Fund Association has formed an academic advisory board to educate students about the hedge fund industry, the association announced Wednesday.

The advisory board will hold symposiums on campuses throughout the country that will feature hedge fund managers and investors. The board also will host online webinars to teach the next generation of professionals about the industry, finance and ethics.

Keith Novick is chairman of the advisory board. Novick is a senior consultant for MJK Consulting Inc., a business consulting firm in New York City.

The Hedge Fund Association is an international, not-for-profit organization made up of hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, financial advisors, service providers and students.
