The Ezzell Group has joined the HighTower Network in Sacramento, Calif. Jason Ezzell, managing director and founder, and Alec Fisher, senior manager, are transitioning from Merrill Lynch and oversee nearly $300 million in client assets.
Ezzell joined Merrill Lynch in 1999 and specializes in individual wealth management as well as deferred compensation plans, concentrated stock and option plans, and business succession planning. Fisher develops financial plans based on individual client needs, goals and risk tolerance.
Advisors who join the HighTower Network own and operate their own businesses in a structure similar to advisors who affiliate with an independent broker-dealer or custodian. They gain access to HighTower’s platform that includes comprehensive technology, compliance, research, operations and business development support.
