The Investment Management Consultants Association today announced the election of two new members to its board of directors.

Keith R. Clemens is a wealth management advisor and first vice president-wealth management at Merrill Lynch in Alpharetta, Ga. Clemens is a 19-year vet at Merrill Lynch. He is chair of IMCA’s CPWA Examination Committee, is an IMCA Ambassador, and serves on IMCA’s Wealth Management Committee.

Todd J. Wagenberg is managing director of investments and senior institutional consultant at Wells Fargo Advisors in Birmingham, Mich. He has been providing investment counsel to affluent families, nonprofit organizations and institutions for nearly 30 years. Since 2007 he has served on IMCA’s Certification Commission, an independent board of subject-matter experts responsible for setting the standards and requirements for IMCA’s CIMA certification.

Their two-year terms begin January 1, 2015.

IMCA is governed by a 13-member Board of Directors whose members serve as volunteers for two-year, renewable terms. 

Brett D. Wright, senior vice president and head of third party distribution at Delaware Investments in Philadelphia, was renewed for a second board term that starts in January.

IMCA is a Denver-based nonprofit professional association and credentialing organization serving 10,000 individual members and certificants worldwide. It offers the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) certifications.
