Independent Financial Partners added 45 new financial advisors to its RIA business in the 2nd quarter and grew revenue by 53% from a year earlier.

The new recruits boosted IFP's advisor ranks by more than 50%, making IFP, with almost 500 advisors, the largest RIA firm in Florida, according to the company.

"The advantages of joining IFP are three-fold: We offer a broad range of services to our advisors, we use economies of scale to keep our payouts high and, most importantly, we work to maximize the independence of our advisors," company CEO William Hamm Jr. said in prepared statement.

"Our goal is to provide our advisors with tools and resources to improve their business," said company President Jennifer Tanck. "It proves that our business model is robust and that our offerings are attractive to independent financial advisors."

IFP is a Tampa-based wealth management firm that offers comprehensive advice to help manage clients' overall financial plans.
