Investopedia, an online resource for financial information for advisors and consumers, has added tools to its Advisor Insights platform to help match advisors with potential clients.

Priority Leads enables people who are looking for an advisor to directly connect with advisors on the site. The tool provides a prospecting tool for advisors, Investopedia says.

The Advisor Insights program, which allows advisors to post information about themselves and post articles and blogs they have written, was launched a year ago.

“One common challenge I’ve heard from the thousands of advisors we speak to is the need to better connect with prospective clients who need financial advice,” says David Siegel, CEO of Investopedia. “We’re trying to facilitate the forging of relationships between investors and advisors. Priority Leads is a complementary benefit to the” services provided through Advisor Insights.

Advisors who are part of Advisor Insights receive public relations assistance, videos, newsletters and other digital marketing services.
