When broken down by gender, wealthy men were more optimistic than women. The Affluent Investor Confidence Index for men was at 7, compared with -1 for women, and the Millionaire Investor Confidence Index for men was at 11, compared with 4 for women. The Affluent Investor Confidence Index for women has been in negative territory for every month in 2016.
The Spectrem Affluent Household Outlook, which measures wealthy household’s confidence in their personal financial situations, increased 4.9 points to 21.2, a four-month high, but remains down 4 points from July 2015.
