The IRS has posted two one-page, tax-related publications on its Web site that spell out intricacies of the Affordable Care Act for individuals and families.

The first publication, Report changes to the Marketplace as they happen, discusses the importance of reporting changes in circumstances, such as family size and household income, to the health insurance marketplace. Individual or family changes can affect the premium tax credit, which is a refundable tax credit that helps eligible people with moderate incomes afford health insurance purchased through the marketplace, according to the IRS.

The second publication, Facts about the Individual Shared Responsibility Provision, discusses what individuals need to know regarding health insurance coverage and taxes.
